September 2026: Lori Breslauer, “Weaving Through the Andes: 25th Anniversary Peruvian Artist Tour”

September’s program focused on Guild member and past President Lori Breslauer’s recent trip with Andean Textile Arts to a region of Peru where artisans create beautiful and functional objects using Wool. Lori discussed her experiences traveling in Peru from Lima to Cusco, including museums, workshops, and weaving communities, during which she met weavers, dyers, and spinners, and had the opportunity to try out the traditional fiber arts techniques of the region.
