November 2024: Whitney Rosier, “Envision Unlimited’s Arts Programming: An Exploration into Fiber Arts by Artists with Disabilities”

At past IPWG guild meetings may have heard fellow members soliciting donations of extra yarn, thrums, fabric, tools, and other weaving supplies that are being collected for Envision. Envision Unlimited’s mission is to provide people with disabilities or other special needs quality services that promote choice, independence, and inclusion.

Whitney Rosier, Art Director of Envision Unlimited’s Community Day Services program, and Envision Artists Marcus W and William C discussed Envision Unlimited’s Studio Arts Program and how the guild’s donations are used in Envision’s weaving, rug hooking, embroidery, paper crafts, and quilting programs.
