Dan Winslow from the Fine Line Creative Arts Center in St. Charles, Illinois, gave a great presentation on solving loom problems before they occur, or oops(!) after they’ve happened. He discussed:
- Functional problems – Problems developed from improperly adjusted looms, a weaver’s poor housekeeping, less than correct weaving techniques, or just plain physics.
- Maintenance/Repair issues – Problems with loosened, broken, bent, rusted, stained, deteriorated, misaligned, or missing parts.
